General Donations:
The Riverside County Professional Firefighters Benevolent Fund has been organized since 2006 and is proud to support the professional firefighters of The Riverside County Fire Department.
The Riverside County Professional Firefighters Benevolent Fund is honored to support the men and women of The Riverside County Fire Department in “their” time of need. We provide financial and emotional support for them and their immediate family when faced with a tragedy, illness or medical emergency.
The Riverside County Professional Firefighters Benevolent Fund is a 501c3 (Non-Profit) organization and is comprised of an all-volunteer Board of Directors.
The majority of our funding comes from public donations from the residents of Riverside County. The Riverside County Professional Firefights Benevolent Fund contracts (For a fee) with a commercial fundraising company to raise revenue.
Our fundraising company raises the revenue by methods of Telemarketing and Direct Mailers. They are required to present themselves in a professional manner when dealing with the public and must abide by a strict set of guidelines. For their services they are paid a fee commensurate to Industry Standard.
Both corporate and private donations can also be made electronically via our web. Under these circumstances the Benevolent Fund collects 99% of the donation absorbing the Credit Card Transaction fee for the donation made via the website.
We collect 100% if donations are mailed to the Benevolent Fund Postal Address.
The Riverside County Professional Firefighters Benevolent Fund Signature Annual Event is our “Shop with a Firefighter” where we pair children under the care of Child Protective Services with Firefighters for a Holiday Shopping Day.

January through September : General Solicitation: Direct and indirect solicitation by the RCPFBF by our commercial contract company, via all types of media including written, telephone and internet.
September through December: Shop with a Firefighter: Direct and indirect solicitation by the RCPFBF by our commercial contract company, via all types of media including written, telephone and internet.
